A 6/21/13 LA times article makes the point that small amounts of silver added to antibiotics can make the antibiotics up to 1000x more powerful in mice.
Beyond showing the potential impact of silver, it raises the question, when doctors administering chemotherapy tell a person not to take nanosilver or anything else that might have some effect on the chemo, are they giving the best advice?
And would the still give that advice if they were aware of this article? It reported on a study published in Science Translational Medicine, and news of that study was picked up in several media. I’d insert the article, but haven’t figured out how to do that yet.
